La Fogata is a Mexican restaurant in Maple Valley, in a shopping center right off the main road going through town. Parking outside is ok since it needs room for all of the other businesses too. Inside, there's about 2 dozen tables. Their menu is a good size, portion sizes are pretty good and prices are just slightly high for what you get. The service here is great, everyone is so friendly and helpful. There is a TV in the back part of the room usually playing sports of some sort. The food here is alright, their carne asada is probably their best item on the menu, and fajitas are ok but you get way too many veggies and not enough meat. Overall it's a good place to bring a group of people or family, and call ahead to reserve lots of space if need be.

Good place. The pollo con mole is absolutely delicious. Portions are large despite the prices being a bit high (though not unusual for the area). Very friendly servers and easy food pick-up. All in all, a solid Mexican option.
Some Mexican restaurants can be focused on trying to get the food out like it’s a drive thru and the food and service often suffer. You don’t get that here. While the food is still made in a timely manner, it’s not rushed so it’s SO much better! The staff is friendly and we really have loved coming here over the many years.
The roastwd chicken and rice dish I had was just ok. It had WAY to many onions packed into it. My father got a burrito and chime relleno. He said it was just ok as well. We are used to authentic Mexican food, and while this place wasn't bad, it also wasn't amazing.
A lot of the food o have come to expect from a Mexican restaurant can be found here. It was all good. I went for something less commonly ordered in the US: Mole. It was delicious. The only reason I give this 4 instead of 5 stars is the salsa was too runny for my liking and the prices we’re steep - albeit the plates were very large. Perhaps if you shared a plate with someone else, it’d be more realistic.
Highly recommend the carne asada and camarones plate and I’m not a big fan of the refried beans and i had no issues switching to the whole beans with the waiter and the churros for the dessert are delicious.
